Astrological Weather Forecast February 2025
As we dive into the Astrology for the month of February 2025 there is a very watery undercurrent permeating seemingly everything with a few conjunctions at the late degrees of Pisces where the North Node of the Moon(Rahu) is now drifting through. In the morning hours of February 1st, Venus moves through a conjunction with Neptune at 27° and 59 minutes. This can be wonderfully gorgeous with Venus traditionally said to be exalted in Pisces blended with Neptune’s mythical water essence. This might be the dreamiest tantalizing awe-inspiring vision of beauty we could attribute to a planetary combination. Like all things in life and Astrology there is the possibility of a downside with potential shadow qualities such as a dark unescapable storm drenching everything. Water is the giver of life but can also be devastatingly destructive when not channeled with awareness or respect for its universal power being undeniable when in the midst of the endless ocean.
This leads us to acknowledge the North Node is at 28° 9 minutes of Pisces at the start of the month. This is only 10 arc minutes away as Venus conjoins Neptune so for all intents and purposes is on the NN. The plot thickens that afternoon as the Moon also sailing through Pisces conjuncts Neptune at 27° as Venus is right on top of the North Node to the minute, occurring less than a half hour before the Moon is conjunct Venus essential directly on the North Node at 28° 9/10 arc minutes. All this being said the pinpointed emphasis here of a triple conjunction on the North Node is out of this world figuratively and quite possibly literally. The North Node in general could be interpreted where the cup runneth over; add these three planets, all of which are watery in nature, then the volume of H₂O is unquantifiable. There is a steady stream of watery expression that is like a non stop spring turning into a mighty river resulting in the creation of a sea; a deluge of unimaginable proportions that flash floods infinity; the ebbs and flows of Karma recede back so far that the rush of fluid is a tidal wave submerging all in its path.
Neptune joins Venus at 28° on the North Node that evening as the Moon is then moved into Aries starting to dry out moods and views. It should also be noted that Saturn is copresent these conjunctions earlier in the sign of Pisces hopefully damming up, directing, absorbing, or utilizing this abundance of water in some kind of constructive useful manner. Last thing I’ll mention here is Neptune has pretty much been on the North Node since the NN entered Pisces in the second week of January and will continue to be for some time. This faithful and inspired or dazed and confused energy will be around the whole month then into March so take note and if so inclined make the most of the energy. A higher expression of Neptune is belief and without it you got fear… don't be so Pollyanna with the rose-colored glasses you don’t heed caution but also don’t drown in fear running to escapism like a drunken stupor until the NN separates from Neptune… choose wisely and tune in.
February 3rd has a few intriguing shifts occurring starting with Mercury in Aquarius, ruling over Gemini, making a trine to Jupiter retrograde in Gemini that afternoon at 11°. The quirky, informative, and at times almost robotic communication style of this Mercury speaks out in an unorthodox kind of way that could possibly rile up Jupiter retrograde in Gemini to unstick whatever's been stuck this Jupiter Rx period. Social snafus or technological malfunctions could be eased and supported.
Then later that evening Mars retrograde in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries becoming exact at 19°. Whatever has been left on the plate that served up the sh!t sandwich this Mars retrograde ruling over Chiron in Aries is getting in the way of digesting the medicine that will nourish wounds offering up greater healing knowledge from the experienced tragedy. This is right before Venus enters Aries around the strike of the midnight hour. Though this entrance could bring some slight relief, Venus is thought to be exiled in Aries and is already in its shadow of the upcoming Venus retrograde, so more challenges are likely to ensue.
Though also exiled there is a glimmer of optimism with Jupiter in Gemini going direct at 11° a little over an hour later in the very early morning of February 4th. Mercury in Aquarius trine Jupiter Gemini the day before seems to have excited the twins’ current jovial disposition just enough to put the cerebral cog wheels in motion catching and riding the airwaves forward.
The next span of aspects that’s important to consider starts February 7th with a fired-up Venus in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius at 2°. Despite being debilitated this abrasive Venus dressed in all red with black lace and ornate spikes is in cooperative agreement and supportive collaboration with the lord of the underworld in the Saturnine yet outside of the box air sign of Aquarius.
This segues to Mercury combust the Sun starting the next day February 8th at 19°, at that point continuing to travel with the Sun entering the heart of Sol to the minute at 20° 58 minutes February 9th. Mercury is directly in the center of our home star just as Mars retrograde in Cancer perfects a trine to Saturn in Pisces at 18°. Whatever trials and tribulations Mars Rx in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces have been facing there appears to be some understanding and unity between the “greater and lesser malefics”. This is especially so since the Moon is present at home in Cancer during this transit conjoining Mars Rx just a few hours later highlighting better things to come soon for fallen Mars.
But wait there’s more! Mercury being amped up riding high in the solar chariot doesn’t end there… It continues riding forward combust through February 10th until 22° when Mercury begins pulling ahead at that time. Mercury is golden and emblazoned with fire power at this time but is more than likely to burn out and be engulfed in flames during the process. If any planet has the dexterity to withstand this inferno it would be Mercury. Nonetheless, I think there is no sign more prone to mental short circuiting in my opinion than fixed Aquarius so it could be wise to not go overboard speeding when in the Sun’s Chariot. As Mercury moves forward in Aquarius to 23° later on February 10th it squares Uranus in Taurus, if things weren’t unhinged and haywire before they probably are now! The Sun in Aquarius, still just a degree away from Mercury, makes that same square to Uranus in Taurus on February 11th. The silver lining here coming through clutch offering some positive results are trines to Lilith in Libra at 25° from Mercury also on February 11th and then the Sun on February 13th. The innovative electrified Mercury Sun combustion is in alignment working on the same page with Lilith in Libra that won’t accept anything other than equal or more assertion on her part in her partnerships and undertakings.
The final set of aspects I’m going to go over for this month begins on February 20th with Mercury in Pisces making a mutual reception square to Jupiter in Gemini at 11°. This is the first aspect Mercury ruling the sign of Gemini has made to Jupiter since Jupiter went direct earlier in the month. By the way it should also be noted Jupiter is still at the same degree it stationed direct at, Mercury is said to be in its fall in Pisces, and Jupiter is in exile when traveling through Gemini. With all this established Jupiters juice likely isn’t flowing again yet and Mercury might not quite know where it’s going at this time. Jupiters expansion might be stifled with a lack of linear mental clarity; Mercury might be extra lost not knowing which direction to pursue growth forward.
On February 23rd Mercury in Pisces trines Mars retrograde in Cancer at 17° just a little while before Mars stations direct later that day. There is some respite for both planets in their fall. This short-lived aspect is precisely the watery fluid harmony called for that coaxes Mars forward back in motion just the way it much prefers it. Mars might still be fallen but is beyond relieved to finally be starting to initiate forward action again after being backed up into a corner.
A couple of days later on February 25th Mercury conjoins Saturn in Pisces at 20°. Any confusion that Mercury has been brewing in could be sobered up now as well as any dreams brought about by Mercury's time traveling through liminal space could be solidified coming to fruition. Saturn is giving the supportive clarity needed for Mercury to get back on track with at least some sense of direction to follow. This occurs as the Moon moves over Pluto at 2° of Aquarius being ruled by Saturn in Pisces. The Mercury Saturn conjunction directly correlates to the next subtle development in the Pluto in Aquarius story that will unfold for the foreseeable future with decay, depth, death, transformation, and rebirth that all things Aquarius will undergo.
Lastly on February 27th Mercury in Pisces is sextile Uranus in Taurus at 23°. The watery imaginary but very inspired Mercury in Pisces is collaborating with the earth-shattering stampede potential of Uranus in Taurus. Some really intriguing down to earth ideas that are yet extremely innovative, creative, or even genius are possible that seemingly appear out of the blue. At this time the Moon slides into Pisces leading to the final lunation of the month later that day with a New Moon in Pisces. This New Moon in Pisces is at 9° copresent Saturn, Mercury, the NN, and Neptune while being squared and ruled by Jupiter in Gemini still barely moved forward from where it stationed direct earlier this month. There might be continued challenges mounting between the Pisces and Gemini parts of our lives but is dawning of a new day for all of the archetypal significance swimming through Pisces currently.
